All in spectacular, almost pristine condition, with some wear from handling these nearly 100-year-old documents, please see photos. No crucial rips, tears, creases, or stains. All pages in tact. Color is remarkable. Extremely delicate. Each ships with a care sheet for maintenance!
I would frame these, or pages from them, 100% without hesitation. Just gorgeous.
**Details on Items/Theaters**
The Empire Theater - opened at 1430 Broadway, New York, NY in 1893 and closed its doors 60 years later, in 1953. A prominent Broadway theater, thousands of shows were performed over the years, with many stars and big-names coming through the doors. Pamphlet from circa. 1921
New Bijou Theater - has a deep history in the city. Opened in 1917 and closed in 1982, razed shortly after closing. This pamphlet is from the days when it was home to plays and musicals, before it started showing cartoons or motion pictures. A rare gem. Circa 1921.
Liberty Theater - Built in 1904, it hosted Broadway plays from its opening until 1933, when it was converted into a movie theater. This has such a cool history, I could write essays about it. Built at the height of the big theater boom, NYC as epicenter for large-scale theater productions. Circa 1921.
