STUNNING, incredible, amazing, this dress is one of the most flattering things I've ever put on (I couldn't resist). Gold, *sheer* arms punctuated with gold lurex half pom-poms, which cover the entire bust, across the light brown under fabric. throughout the entire bust. Trimmed in an ornate gold swirl piping on the collar, wrists and around entirety of both chest pieces. It has a peter pan collar and a deep v neck that can be concealed with the hidden snap at the collar base. The skirt portion is beautifully cut and full-length, with thoughtful seams running throughout. The skirt has a flare and is a poly blend. It has a zip back closure and two snaps at the wrist. The torso is lined.
There is a possibility that this dress was made in the 1970's, but from my extensive research, I do believe this to be authentic 1930's. I don't think the pompoms are lurex, even, they feel more like tinsel/foil and less like a yarn type (and I wear A LOT of lurex). Lurex was invented in 1946 and is a fabric/yarn type, and these details on this dress are not fabric.
Condition: Spectacular! No flaws to note.
