Lovely elegant, thin glass compote with a slim shaft/stem. It's an intriguing purple, with more red than blue (hence plum!). See photos next to my other listings for color comparison. The dark purple/red shows up brilliantly in the light, and you can see how well this was made as the density increases towards the shaft. It would be a great accent among other colorful pieces, or a perfect little useful bowl in the kitchen, boudoir, or more creative homes! Great gift for vintage or glass lovers.
Condition: Just about perfect. Barely any signs of aging. Was loved in its former homes. Happy to make a video upon request :)
Makers Mark: None. Research suggests it is either Fostoria or Morgantown. I have other pieces of Morgantown in the exact same shape, from the Decor line made in the 1960's. But I've seen this with a sticker indicating it was the Princess line made by Fostoria.
