Made by Riihimaki in Finland, designed by Tamara Aladin, this amber and clear cased glass vase was made in the 1970's. With a sculptural, cylinder shape and a hoop center plus a weighted base, this is a stunner. Sturdy yet delicately, beautifully crafted.
Riihimaki (aka Riihimaen Lasi Oy) was founded in 1910 and closed in 1990. This is pattern number 1472, and was designed by Tamara Aladin. However, pattern 1472 is listed at 8", but this one is almost 4" taller!
Makers Mark: Original label in tact near top lip.
Condition: Excellent. No flaws. One bubble from production, see media.
