Lovely lightweight silk scarf by Oscar de la Renta, likely from the 1980's. Featuring a bright red background, with super-saturated flowers, mostly roses, that are reminiscent of an oil painting. The graphic was probably screen-printed, an incredible feat considering the red is so vibrant and the florals are also so vivid.
This beautiful piece is extremely versatile. Wear it as a pop of color around the neck, as a shoulder cover on bright & sunny days, as a wrap around the chest, a bag or hat sash. Endless possibilities abound with something of this quality, size and colorway. AKA - this would be a PERFECT gift for a scarf lover or newbie to the accessory.
Fun fact - Oscar de la Renta no longer makes scarves and stopped sometime in the early 2000's.
Condition: Wonderful! No snags or imperfections. It's folded in the photos simply from storage, and my steamer broke while I was doing the photoshoot!
