Well isn't this just the most perfect blown glass lamp? Featuring colored frosted glass bits throughout, pulled during blowing process to have this effect. White, pink, blue and green specks are scattered among the primarily white piece. It has a sphere top, round cylindrical shaft and wider opening to allow the shade to slip onto the base with ease. Provides wonderful ambient lighting.
The base was made in England, and is Bakelite. It has three feet, that look like actual creature feet and have great detail.
The shade itself is either Murano or Czech glass - I was told it was the latter when I acquired it.
Condition:
Spectacular. Works great. Ships with the lightbulb, too. Base has some evident wear if you look on the bottom. Otherwise, nothing to note!
