Stunning MG Wheeler "portable desk lamp". The shade designed to cast light down on the surface it rests on, and the bright bulb itself is concealed. The top of the lamp pops on and off so you can change the bulb easily. Final photo shows the lamp without the shade.
Quintessential of the 1960's design. Very space age. Bright blue is just about neon but not quite.
Original paper label attached. This beauty is made entirely of metal, likely aluminum, with a solid base. Gold brass accents compliment the near cobalt blue color. White on/off switch is very fresh.
