This vintage blown glass stand is a versatile piece, not only in function but also style. Probably originally designed as a cake stand, this would be a great addition to a boudoir, entryway, curio cabinet, or any where that needs a little lift. The base is basically an art glass paperweight, with controlled bubbles throughout its clear glass. The top piece is a deep emerald, almost olive green and has a slight lip. Made entirely of blown glass and made by hand (with the weight as proof), this is a treasure.
Spectacular holiday decor or gift!
Condition: Wonderful, pristine. Some surface scuffs on the bottom of the base. Add a felt pad to preserve as it is.
Makers Mark: None. This specific style and color combination have been attributed to Erickson Glass Company. Carl Erickson worked at Blenko, Libbey and Pairpoint, before opening his own company with his brother in Bremen, Ohio. This piece was acquired in Ohio, which is not necessarily an indicator of origin but may help serious collectors! If it *is* Erickson glass, it was made between 1943 - 1961, when the factory closed.

Diameter - 10:
Height - 4.6" approximate
